AI Product Manager
About the Role
We’re looking for an AI Product Manager to lead initiatives that bring together data science, artificial intelligence, LLM-based agents, and prompt engineering. This role sits at the intersection of technical implementation and strategic product development, with a focus on delivering AI-powered solutions that identify machine issues, summarize operational data, and recommend resolution steps in real time. You will work closely with engineering and industrial teams to turn machine data into meaningful insights and tools that support both automated systems and human technicians. Success in this role requires a strong understanding of AI technologies and hands-on experience with large language models. This role is well suited for a creative problem-solver who is passionate about connecting advanced AI capabilities with deep industrial knowledge.

What You'll Do:
- Architect, implement, and refine LLM-based systems (e.g., GPT-4, Claude, or open-source alternatives) to analyze and summarize real-time, user-imputed operational data, identify potential root causes of machine breakdowns, and recommend resolution steps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and technicians, to define product strategy and roadmaps.
- Develop prompt engineering strategies to improve the accuracy and relevance of AI-generated summaries and recommendations.
- Work with experienced technicians and domain experts to design feedback loops that allow technician inputs to refine AI models, ensuring continuous improvement in the quality of AI-generated responses.
- Prototype and A/B test AI agent interfaces to optimize usability for technicians with varying levels of technical expertise, balancing automation with human oversight.
- Develop and maintain product documentation, including user guides, technical specifications, and training materials.
- Conduct market research and analyze competitor offerings to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of AI-driven products.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Communicate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders, including machine repair technicians, contractors, and manufacturing executives, demonstrating how AI reduces machine downtime.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in data science, Al, and machine learning, applying this knowledge to improve our products and services.
What We're Looking For:
- 2–5 years of experience in product management for AI technologies, data science, or related fields.
- Demonstrated ability to experiment with multiple LLM services (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral) and optimize prompts for domain-specific tasks.
- Strong collaboration skills, with experience working alongside engineers, product managers, and subject matter experts in fast-paced environments.
- Experience with machine learning algorithms, natural language processing, and AI-driven solutions.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and collaborative version control systems.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional and remote teams.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
- Experience with aerospace and defense industry-specific technologies or applications is a plus.
