Customer Success Lead
About the Role
We’re looking for a leader to join our management team and build out our customer success function. This person will own the overall customer experience and partner closely with business development on new customer acquisition. Reporting to the Head of Operations, this is a critical and highly visible role within AmbyTech, with broad influence across product development and operations. Ideally based at our U.S. headquarters in San Diego, we’re open to remote work for exceptional leaders who bring strong execution and strategic clarity to the table. As a startup, we operate in an environment of constant change. This role requires someone who’s confident navigating ambiguity and making sound decisions with limited inputs. We’re looking for someone eager to contribute across dimensions; someone who listens to real-world customer needs and helps shape how we keep machines running smarter and faster.

What You'll Do:
  • Develop the strategy and tactics to build a world-class enterprise customer success organization and then deliver on the plan
  • Manage the relationship with our strategic customer acquisition channel partners
  • Own key customer relationships and ensure they are provided the highest level of service
  • Develop and cadre of referenceable customer relationships
  • Collaborate across functions to problem solve within and outside of your specific areas of responsibility
  • Build a team of exceptional relationship managers who are the front line for customer conversion and client delivery
  • Serve as a model leader for the customer success team
  • Serve as the ‘voice of the customer’ and advocate for customers within AmbyTech
  • Represent AmbyTech to the public at conferences, events, and other gatherings
What We're Looking For:
  • 6+ years combined experience in customer service, business development, and/or  enterprise sales
  • 2-5 years of team leadership experience
  • Experience at high-growth tech startups.  ‘Hard tech’ experience is a plus
  • A consultative team-player with high EQ
  • A strong communicator and team player who excels working with cross-functional teams
  • Able to use discretion and handle highly sensitive information
  • Incredibly detailed and capable of juggling multiple priorities with limited time
  • Extremely self motivated with a growth mindset and strong work ethic
  • Energized working in a fast-paced and uncertain environment
  • Passionate about technology and deep respect for entrepreneurship
